Fall is officially here! Aside from pumpkin spice flavored everything, what better way to get in the fall spirit than by spending time with family?

Apple picking – Now that the hot weather has given us a break, outdoor activities can be more enjoyable without all the heat! September through early October is the best time to go pick fresh, delicious apples. You may even be able to catch a hayride while you're there!
Fall decor – Decorating in the fall brings so much joy to your home and is something your family can join in on too! Ask the kids for their input on fall decorations and have them help you put them up, it will help them feel more included in the seasonal transformation of your house.
Build a scarecrow – You can purchase a scarecrow online or in a craft store, but you can also make one with some materials you have at home. Grab an old button-up and pants then fill up with crumbled newspaper. With a little imagination, you and the family can transform your front porch with this super fun autumn DIY project!
Pumpkin fun – Who can decorate the most festive pumpkin? Carve them out or draw a design with paint and markers. Pumpkins have so many great uses, including decoration for indoors and out, and also for delectable treats the whole family can enjoy!
Make a hand print turkey – This indoor activity can be done with items you already have laying around the house. Paper plates and paint can be used to make your child’s masterpiece or even colorful fall-themed construction paper.
