MEET KAITLYN LAYMAN

Kaitlyn Layman is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Village Pediatrics in Plano, TX. She cares for children of all ages and has worked in nursing for more than 9 years.

As a mom herself, Kaitlyn provides a personal, empathetic and understanding approach to care for children and their parents. She treats each child individually and knows that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to treating your child. She provides support for the whole family so everyone can live a healthy life together.

Kaitlyn is passionate about helping children reach their potential and be as physically, mentally and emotionally healthy as possible. She emphasizes the importance of sleep, daily exercise and sunshine to a child’s and family’s overall wellbeing. She encourages a healthy lifestyle for the whole family so children can continue these practices into adulthood.

How Kaitlyn Practices Whole-Person Health

Kaitlyn lives in Melissa with her husband Brian and their young son Carter. As part of a healthy lifestyle, they love to stay active as a family through CrossFit, spending time outside and hiking. As a family, they enjoy sharing healthy, nutrient-dense meals and modeling these healthy lifestyle choices for their son. They also enjoy watching sports and spending time with family.

Kaitlyn stays active in the community by serving in the worship choir at Preston Trail Community Church.
